New Reviews
And Getting Ready for the Upcoming Conventions
Sebbaa’s Dungeon has been reviewing LotFP adventures. The big review is for Don’t Fuck the Priest, and as the author of that one I think he’s got a pretty good handle on what the adventure does and how it works, so if you’re at all curious as to what the hell this is, this review is good for finding out. And he likes it, which is a plus, with the adventure getting “Sebbaa’s Seal of Approval.” As he says, “This adventure is so wild (with his accent it sounds like ‘vile’ and frankly either works), so creative, so utterly mad and gross!”
The video is age-restricted, so even if you don’t care about this particular release, give it a click so it gets some “views” since the algorithm is going to throttle the damn thing. (Sydney Sweeney playing an OnlyFans model on a TV show showing off all sorts of kinks and fetishes can get talked about and clips shown all over the place, but oh no, can’t say the ‘f’ word in a Youtube video or else there will be consequences. The world is hilarious.)
But do care about the release, because I think it’s fuckin’ gnarly and with a pretty damn clever premise and equally clever execution, if I do say so myself. Yeah, it’s a tad on the pricey side but we did go all-out on the production.
He’s also got shorts-formatted reviews of Winnie the Shit, Temple of the Wurm, and Lair of the Brain Eaters:
These are all available in both the LotFP EU and US webstores, as well as through our retail partners.
Oh, do you speak Italian? There’s been an actual play of Death Frost Doom posted:
So that’s the review updates.
The upcoming conventions LotFP is attending:
May 29-31 UK Games Expo in Birmingham, UK
June 3-7 North Texas RPG Convention, Dallas, USA
Later this summer we’ll be at:
July 24-26 Ropecon in Helsinki, Finland
July 30-Aug 2 Gen Con in Indianapolis, USA
People are running the following LotFP games at Gen Con:
(all the LotFP games at North Texas are sold out)
Before leaving for the Expo, we’ll have a few videos out, then we’ll hype the conventions as we arrive at them, and then in June we’ll have some new stuff for you!
Until then… in honor of the Italian play video, here is the title track of Midryaski’s Kult’s new album, Italian Dark Sound. It’s an ode to dark Italian music, and they namecheck Black Hole, Death SS, Goblin, Jacula, Ultima Missa, and Zess. A good a start as any if you want to go down that rabbit hole. And check out Italian labels Avantgarde Music, Black Widow Records, Cruz Del Sur Music, Dusktone, Flowing Downward, I, Voidhanger Records, Minotauro Records, and My Kingdom Music; I can can personally vouch for their quality.
Until next time…
